Yup, you will find like minded parents at Kumon. My son will enter k next year and is reading fluently at a second grade level. He has been going to Kumon for math enrichment. When I enrolled 6 months ago I asked the owner if she knew what schools her kindergartners attended. She told me my neighborhood school had a few students who have been in the junior kumon program so I am not worried he will be bored in school since there will be other advanced kids there too. if you don't want to do kumon you can buy math books from singaporemath.com and work through them.

Then why does everyone in this society tutor their kids from math, soccer, piano, chess, SAT and violin?

Do kids ever get burnt out from sitting on the couch watching TV or playing video games?
