You misunderstood the statement. You could juice a pound of greens and get a cup of juice that is totally loaded with awesome nutrients, but you could not easily eat the equivalent amount of greens. Does that make sense?

I'm a Vitamix person myself, but what would worry me the most is juicing a pound of spinach that is not organic. The high concentration of non-organic veggies would concern me. I'm sure this is not an issue if you can afford to literally buy 15-20lbs of organic fruits and veggies each week just for juicing.
With the vitamin, I do use organic, but since I keep the fiber, I use a lot less ingredients to get a filling volume of product.
