Very wrong.
On the other hand, I think Uma Thurman is ugly, so what do I know?

I think she's beautiful; my husband finds her terribly ugly. Neither of us are Asian. Who's right?
Anonymous wrote:i understand what OP is asking but she asked it in a completely insulting manner. the real question is, "do you understand beauty definitions in other cultures?". every culture has a unique defintion of beauty and i don't believe there is a universal one (not counting basic kindness).
my parents come from a south asian country and the south asians i think are beautiful don't fall in their opinion. likewise vice versa. i have westernized ideals of beauty whereas they have south asian. there was a thread recently about "shahs of sunset" and people were posting that one of the characters, GG, was "ugly". i would argue that by south asian and middle eastern standards, she has some attractive characteristics. big eyes, etc. but these arenot necessarily attractive in all cultures.

But if she's what's considered ugly, most people are too.
In reality, most people are average, while few a truly ugly or beautiful.
