I also know someone who only had two eggs fertilize and although they transferred both, she had a BFN. The next time around they changed the protocol and she had many more eggs.

I am someone who fits the description in the second paragraph--got two eggs last time, both fertilized, transferred, and BFN. This time we changed the protocol and got many more eggs.
The point is, your embryos don't know if they're in a batch of 2 or 10. The good one is a good one, no matter how many others developed with it. Of course the chances are higher with more eggs, but each one of those embryos can become a baby.
