OP I would return them. They don't seem to be fitting properly. Then I would get a nice pair of shoes that don't torture your feet. It's not worth it.

Your problem is that those aren't walking around shoes. Any shoe with a heel that high are meant to be worn when you are spending the bulk of your time on your back. Or hands and knees. Or bent over the table. Whichever your Daddy prefers, as it were.

Trt a heel pad. It sounds like the shoe is too big. If the heel pad.doesn't work, try one under the ball of your foot. But really, why did you spend money on shoes that don't fit?

Gotta agree, OP, and no snark from me. I'm guessing you are still pretty young, but I'm in my 40s now. After 20 years of heels, my feet are completely trashed (I have gone cold turkey and don't wear them now, only special occasions). I've had a couple surgeries and it is absolute hell. I can't run anymore, which I used to love. Obviously this won't happen to everyone. But in my opinion, it is NOT WORTH IT. If the shoe hurts, don't wear it. You don't realize how great it is to walk pain free until you can't anymore.

So go ahead and make fun of the lady in Danskos, but she'll look a lot better barefoot in 20 years.

Those are not 5" heels. If they're painful to your bones, may I suggest that they are not good footwear. And they're not attractive, so don't go through the pain for them.

You're probably too fat. All that extra weight puts quite a bit of stress on your ankles and feet.

Try these:

Hookers think they're hot, too.
