15:50- this is NOT my salon at. all. In fact what you described is the exact opposite. The tv is blaring, people are talking to each other loudly, and the nail techs ARE talking to each other in their native languages. There are no signs about cell phones! I would never use a cell phone in an area with a sign. I just don't see how me talking on the phone to dh (VERY QUIETLY) is any worse than two people talking to each other- esp when they are considerably louder than me? Also, for what it's worth, I was at least 10 ft away from any other people. Going outside is not a bad idea and I would have done so except there was no space to sit outside and I wanted to sit down (I am 8 months pregnant).

15:50 here, I'm 39 weeks and walked out to talk just last Saturday.
OP, you were annoying the lady, as soon as you saw the way she was looking at you you should have walked out or hung up. Sorry. Just because everybody is being rude and don't have any manners you'll join the crowd? Sorry but my manners don't depend on the environment where I am.
Ok, I'm sorry, but you people are just nuts!! Because one woman was glaring at the OP, the OP needs to step outside? Of a nail salon?????? I would've just glared right back at that lady and told her to mind her own freaking business. Good lord!!!
