OT, but..l Is there a way to contact you? We'll need this service this summer! I'd love a plan that we can implement in stages. I.e., window treatments and paint before we move into our new home plus essential furniture, then finishing the rest of the home over the next year or two.

OP here. Wow, talk about thread resurrection.

Anyway, we did go with WM for coffee table, tv console, bed, and dining table set.

Tip: Don't bother w assembly services. The guys who delivered the furniture took way longer than we would have (from Rockville store, though delivery company is separate from WM).

If you have a cordless drill/driver w hex bit attachments, you'll be good to go.

Oh my goodness. This thread restores my faith in humanity. As a designer who frequently recommends WM and other similar stores to clients on a budget, I'm so glad to hear others love it, too. Because really, who buys a $20,000 dining table?

hit or miss. We have a coffee table and tv console from them that are great. Have had both for 3+ years and they have hled up well. We also have a hutch/desk that is just ok. Assembling the hutch was a nightmare that involed multiple trips to the store to exchange parts because the parts weren't drilled properly. When assembled one drawer wouldn't fit or slide. I'm pretty handy and can't assembel thing with no problem and that thing gave me a run for my money.

That said I think a bed is simple enough that it should hold up well.
