The Housewives (All Casts) have NOTHING on these people. The SHALLOW, VANITY OBSESSED, MATERIALISTIC nature of this group is absolutely APPALLING! The only one with any depth of character is Asa and the rest of her so called "friends" should stop making fun of her style behind her back and take some lessons from her on being a decent human being. What truly confuses me is that NONE of them is even remotely attractive! Especially GG!!! The one who doesn't like ugly people...really?! Smells like a low self esteem to me because you're not pretty at all! There is NOTHING more UNNATRACTIVE than a MEAN, ghetto talking, spoiled brat! Not a good look. Mike had some physical potential until he opened his mouth. What kills me is that they could've taken the chance for a show to bring awareness to the atrocities that caused their families to come here and the present day issues. Instead they make a VERY POOR respresentation of their culture and I think they should be ASHAMED of themselves and their characters. I have several Persian friends from LA and the people on this show are NOTHING like the beautifully spiritual people I know. SHAME ON ALL OF YOU for being such morally. spiritually, and intellectually corrupt individuals that you are. All of you are WAY TOOO OLD to be SOOO UNAWARE! Do yourselves a favor and volunteer some of your wasted time to help others and GET A CLUE about what life is REALLY about.

Anonymous wrote:Anyone watching? The girl who said she doesn't like ugly people isn't really that pretty.
Anonymous wrote:OP here. What you all say makes sense. I think it could show Persians are just like everyone else, but there is also the risk of ignorant people stereotyping and assuming all Persians are like this. Jersey shore is different in that these are not people who's parents left a country that we are clashing with. Of course the parents of these cast members LEFT and do not agree with this regime at all, but some people IMO will be too clueless to think about that.
I am curious to see how they handle homosexuality, etc, though I will only see through clips at bravo's website. I also wonder about the families of these cast members. Are they devastated to have their kids on TV acting materialistic? I would be. (Some reviewers have seen the first show and I think it is edited the same way the previous are-unflattering).

Good Lord.
Why does it bother you so much? It is personal preference.
Yes, but why do they do it? Is it because Iran doesn't have a good image internationally?
Or because they disagree with current leaders of Iran and don't want to be associated with them. Geez.
