$5/day is still $200+/month which is not that much different than Arlington schools (my son's school's max is $248/month). Arlington is also on a sliding scale and some pay only $5/MONTH for aftercare.

I know your post says that. My question was if people can use it 2-3 days a week or if it is expected/assumed that kids come every day. I just wonder if it is a pain to just use it part time as far as getting them to understand which days your child will come, signing them out, etc. My son is in 1st now and we have a nanny so it is not an issue, but at some point we may get rid of the nanny and use extended day in the afternoons 2-3 days a week.
