On the other hand, freshly pumped bm is nicely sweet. I used it in my coffee on a few occasions when I was out of cow milk.
And no, this is definitely not fake. I had a huge oversupply and consistently pumped about three times as much as my baby would take. Ultimately I donated my massive freezer stash to a woman who had adopted a newborn and wanted to feed him bm.
