Very slurred speech and a lot of difficulty swallowing. No problems yet walking or doing anything like that.

SO happy OP. Definitely make sure he gets the full workup - but that seems most reasonable.

I have heard that about lipitor. Made my husband decide to radically change his diet instead.

Just wanted to give you all an update -- we still don't know for sure what is going on, but the best guess is side effects of long term use of Lipitor.
