They send their child essays on that special "Ivy League" letterhead.

It doesn't, but obviously these morons ensure every living being they meet understand they are in the presence of their greatness by inserting "casually" into conversation.

You should take the offer from GDS, I hear they have that special room for removing sticks from asses. Sounds like that might come in handy for you.
Well said! Talk about high maintenance!

Accepted K girl. Had not applied for PK. No connections, good jobs but nothing fancy or extraordinary. Did make last minute first choice call; just left a voicemail. Also attended their voices for learning outside class as a way to show interest.

I have to say that it was the nicest w/l letter we've received and actually made me believe a spot could open. We will be attending our first choice school so we will be giving up our spot.

Beauvoir has been a pleasure throughout this whole process.

DC was accepted off a very nicely worded Beauvoir WL letter. We got the call after April 1st. Best of luck to your DC. Hang in there.

Good grief, could you possibly be any more pompous?
I can see some poor AD is going to live to regret this.

DC Pre-K waitlisted. To Beauvoir K acceptances, congrats. Could I ask if you did anything special for your DC application? For example, did you have any current families call or write letters for your DC's file. We would like to apply again next year if our DC is not asked to enroll from waitlist, and any insights for next year would be helpful now while the process is fresh in our memories. We would greatly appreciate any info on your DC's application profile (ie WPPSI scores, etc) that you would feel comfortable sharing.
