I don't really mind any of this, but when these monstrous dysfunctional bullies start trying to influence public policy in favor of their bullshit, that is when I get angry. Their moral compass is clearly severely damaged and they would do well to try to bring their own house in order.
So are all Priests pedophiles? Any known pedophiles should get the same treatment in regards to communion as this woman. Should I say all gays are pedophiles because sandusky is one?

Come on, folks. I'm all for gay rights but we must know our place.
If sinners couldn't take communion the mass sure wouldn't last very long.
Bible is very clear that we're all sinners, and that the duty of the church is to minister to sinners. I don't happen to believe that being lesbian or in an lesbian relationship is a sin, but even if you do believe that, it shouldn't impact communion.

Anonymous wrote:Yeah, and were you ever looking for a job in Utah? How'd you like to work for a Mormon boss in a heavily Mormon company knowing how they felt about blacks. Still none of your business?Anonymous wrote:The Church allows gay parishioners, but when it comes to communion, it is a different story.
I am Afric. Am. and when Mormons were not allowing non White priests, I did not feel that it was any of my business. Sure, if they asked ME, I would say it was wrong, but other than that, it was none of my business.
Agree that protest is OK, but they have the right to be Catholic and do things their way. I know that there are TONS of gay priests and nuns, but again, none of my business.

Anonymous wrote:This woman's problem is that she selected the wrong sin. If only she had assigned known pedophiles to work with children like Cardinal Law, she would have been fine. Maybe she should become a nun as I am sure all the homosexual priests and lesbian nuns get communion even though they live with members of the same sex.

And based on the fact that the archdiocese apparently felt she should have been given Communion, maybe she is used to getting communion at her home church. I'm not Catholic but I haven't heard any stories about churches hanging big signs saying "no practicing homosexuals may receive communion." For that matter, if the priest found out that she was living with a boyfriend and not married to him, would he have also denied her Communion then? I bet not.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:wow, where is the love? this woman was at her mother's funeral. this action just reeks of a lack of compassion, which i think would be counter to what God would want.
i seriously doubt this woman was taking a stand at her mother's funeral. have some compassion.
My thoughts as well. Having gone through the loss of both parents and my FIL, I can't imagine that politics were entering into her thoughts.
