My kids have had black, white, and hispanic teachers, young and old teachers, teachers who wear head scarves, and even male music and PE teachers. It's weird I had to think through the specific teachers to come up with the previous sentence.
Racial diversity of staff wasn't a requirement when I looked at places, but I do think it's been good for my kids. If it matters to you it seems like the sort of thing you could easily observe during a tour.
