We have 2 in college and 2 still at home. We didn't save for college, but so far so good.

We have a 3 yo DD and have Zero saved for college. We're hoping to start saving after we are done paying for daycare.

Three kids, 4, 4, and 2. $80K total saved.
Which both seems like a ton of money and a drop in the bucket at the same time.

Two kids (8 yr and 11 yr old). We have about $100K total for both of them but recently bumped up our monthly savings to about $650/month. According to mint.com, that still will not be enough to fully pay for their college

We have saved ZERO.
Grandma and Grandpa have saved 15K for her in a 529.

We plan to start adding to her college account once we have paid off our law school loans. Ah, the circle of life.

THIS! Except we do put all the money he gets as presents in a savings account so a whopping $600. We will try to save aggressively but I don't know if we can swing private school. My H and I both came from families who didn't make a lot of money so we both got big grants to attend our dream private schools. Now we're both lawyers and won't qualify for financial aid and don't know if we'll have the $700K or whatever it will friggin cost for private schools in 18-20 years for two or more kids.

The really scary thing is that $700K for 2 kids won't be enough, if the current rate of tuition/expense increase continues. Something's gotta give. I just hope it's before my kid starts college in 13 years.

Kids are 10 and 12. We have about $60,000 for each.

2.5 a good chunk of our state prepaid college fund and then we will at some point do the 529. We wanted to make sure we had something and hope we can do more than that.

About 22K for DS6 and 9K for DS4. My parents just put about 12K in a fund for each of them, so we have that too. My plan is to have my rental properties paid off by the time DS6 starts college (maybe by his sophomore year) and be able to cash-flow college if we need to. For now we just continue to put $150/month away for each and hope it does something magical. We don't intend to invest any more than that; anything extra that comes in goes towards paying down the rental properties. HTH!
