Yes, love the skin. I only buy organic apples and always wash them with some fruit wash or even dish soap and rinse well. Even organic apples are waxed. It's food grade wax, probably no harm, but I can tell it's on there. That's why apples are so shiny and last.

Yes, apples, strawberries, and potatoes are some of the worst offenders re: pesticides. Buy organic if you can. Whole Foods had organic honey crisp apples on sale for $1.49/lb over the weekend. Can't beat that!
