Okay, I get paid to do research. Sometimes with a team, sometimes alone. I don't teach anymore, although I'd like to get back into it.

No, thanks. You don't know what I do for a living, and the way my brain works is actually more of a benefit than pleasing you in a meeting would be. And for what it's worth, I don't have one of those jobs where we sit around at meetings all day, so I really don't care.
