Real people live outside the Beltway . I have relatives who lost manufacturing jobs to Asia.

I guess OPs concerns have gone away now that Eastwoodcis stumping for Romney.

I still don't see why it does not make as much sense, especially given that Eastwood is a Republican, to assume that the implication is that when you are in trouble at halftime you change your game-plan. That's how I took it, at least, and it still looks like it could end "I'm Mitt Romney and I approve this ad."

Its a superbowl ad, the football reference made the commercial work when it was show (during halftime no less). I was actually entralled by it until the when I saw the Chrysler brands.

It was the first commercial after the game broke for halftime, so it made sense during the Superbowl.
