Then he's no worse than any other athlete or celebrity. But he still does good and charitable works off the field, which is a lot better that what most do with their time and money.

People have sex out of wedlock - Sometimes, kids result from it. It just shows they are human. As long as they aren't out there knocking up multiple women, I won't fault them for those things.

I'm not saying people should emulate them having kids out of wedlock, but I'm less willing to condemn these 2 for the listed "offenses" than the others.

How come none of you are complaining that he is building a hospital or has spent most of his time off the field helping orphans?

How come none of you said something about the players that say god bless during interviews or huddle at the middle of the field after a game to pray? or complain about it when an actor or musician says first of all I want to thank ......


He is nto to blame, he isn;t asking to be put on TV, he just does what he does and doesn't ask to be a role model

As Tim Tebow said, football is not important to him, it is a vehicle for him to reach his goal of prividing for people who need help, if he didn't have football, he would be successful helping poeple, he just doesn't let the negative people drag him down

And yet, he does. All the time. And that's what's so annoying. I have no problem with the knee, or his faith - but I don't want to hear about it. Every time he wins, or even does something positive.

No one here seems to understand why these little numerical coincidences are exciting.

Millions upon millions of people Googled John 3:16 after the game. Tebow brought the message of that verse to millions of people because he lives his faith. That's God's grace at work. "Preach the gospel at all times. When necessary, use words."

Grace is always at work in our lives. Sometimes we notice, and sometimes we don't. When we are in a bad way, the grace feels and looks repulsive, like when an unrepentant alcoholic is faced with an intervention and lashes out at everyone there--"it's you, not me!"
