Let's see other role models
Tom Brady kid out of wedlock
Michael Vick-dog killer
Tiger Woods womenizer
Lebron James multiple kids out of wedlock
Roger Clemmens drugs violence
Michael Jordan womenizer gambler
FWIW, my understanding is that Tom Brady has done the best he could with the situation of his first child. Bridget got pregnant pretty much their last time together. Stuff happens. And while I'm not a fan of Lebron, hasn't he been with the mother of his children forever? And they are getting married soon, correct?
People have sex out of wedlock - Sometimes, kids result from it. It just shows they are human. As long as they aren't out there knocking up multiple women, I won't fault them for those things.
I'm not saying people should emulate them having kids out of wedlock, but I'm less willing to condemn these 2 for the listed "offenses" than the others.

If he believes in a being higher than himself then I applaud that. You don't see many star athletes giving praise to anyone other than themselves.
From here out this season, I'll be rooting for the Broncos.
Ravens own the Steelers, by the way.

I don't hate Tebow. I don't hate his religion. If it's a positive thing in his life, more power to him.
What I do hate is nonsense like, "WHOA! Tebow had 316 passing yards! JESUS IS SPEAKING THROUGH TIM TEBOW!"
The Lord doesn't care about your football playoffs, y'all.

Sally Jenkins, at the Post, had an interesting take on why Tebow upsets people so much:
"When Tebow kneels on the field, his religion becomes challengingly present. Tebow doesn’t have to get into a bunch of Jesus Talk to put you or me in an uncomfortable state of mind. It’s more subtle than that. Murray suggests, if I have a reaction to the Knee, it’s because Tebow implies “that there is something in the universe over and above the natural which deserves my attention, allegiance, or honor and I find that distasteful or irritating.”"
