I was going to create a homeschooling forum when I added the last group of forums. When I suggested it (there is a separate thread dedicated to which new forums to set up), the idea was widely criticized. The best way to show that such a forum is needed is to begin discussion in the "Schools and Education General Discussion" forum. Once it is obvious that the topic is popular, a forum can be easily justified.

I bet it would get far more traffic than the sports forum. It is crickets over there

I'm investigating the option of homeschooling my SN kid starting next year. Would love a homeschool forum. Btw, I'm also a flaming liberal.

And with online courses home schooling is becoming a better option to paying private school tuition. Another vote for home schooling forum!
