Not. Even.

They are names of COLORS. COLORS, PEOPLE.

Nope, I'm with the PP. Every hunter south of Richmond has a hound dog named Blue.

I am guessing that no one remembers Jay Z's huge break out album "The Blue Print", she is no doubt named after that record.

I remember! That album is still one of my favorites. When I heard the name, I immediately thought of the album.

How narcissistic is that?

Naming your child after the success your album. Stupid as shit and very self-centered.

I mistakenly thought that those two might actually have some class, but nope.

Is Beyonce french for Selfish B*tch?

God knows what she looks like without makeup and hair, if she had makeup and hair people coming to the hospital, it must be pretty bad!

As for names, whatever.

How about how the presence of Beyonce in the hospital resulted in total lockdown in the maternity ward, including the NICU?

A lot worse than their dumb, if well thought out, choice of name, as far as I'm concerned.

I've always liked the name Blue. I'm just not artsy or cool, so I'd never use it. I think it fits in just fine with an artistic family like Jay Z and Beyonce.

I kinda think the Blue Ivy name is pretty. Besides, it's not like that kid is gonna have a normal life and put their name on a job application.

Why are people so surprised that a woman named Beyonce would name her child Blue? At least it's a recognized word and spelled like it sounds.

Her name is not "made up." Her mother is Louisiana creole - she has a mixed background of African, French, and I think some native American, and Beyonce was her maiden name. So Beyonce was named to honor her mother's family & French/Louisiana heritage. Beyonce's sister also has a French name (Solange).

Sign of mental illness, I think. Apparently he CHANGED to this from his very normal birth name.

This reminds me of the Friends episode where Phoebe and her husband want to legally change their names.
