A simple band. Husband has same one. I like that we have the same rings on our fingers.

I have a beautiful engagement ring that I wear daily. But, for situations where I knew I wouldn't wear the diamond ring (beaches, pools, certain vacation spots, etc.) I wanted a simple band, not a flashy diamond band. My wedding band is 2 mm, white gold and I love it. On the occasions I do leave the engagement ring off, I think the simple band looks so elegant on its own.

I do. A gold band. The engraving is what makes it special.

I have a really nice engagement ring but it seems really fancy for my park-going SAHM lifestyle. I just wear a simple band.

Don't wear much jewelry, ears not pierced. Had an engagement ring that I almost never wear anymore. Love my simple gold band. I do think it looks really classic and fits my personality too.

Yes. I tend to the plain side. It worked when I was younger, but now that I am in my 40s I might need seem more bling in my future since my physical beautly is fading. I am thinking of those fabulous old ladies with lots of bling..Joan Rivers, Joan Collins, Liz Taylor...

17.19 here ... Yes!! I'm 31 and tend to be very understated even though I love and appreciate beautiful fine jewelry. My DH and I always say that the older a woman gets, the more she can pull off exactly what you are describing. I saw the most graceful woman, had to be in her mid-70's, the other day. She had three diamond bands on her right ring finger that had to have amounted to 6 carats. Would have been ridiculous on me - but just gorgeous on her. Love those fabulous older ladies.

I actually wear a simple plain wedding band because I love jewelry--but couldn't imagine spending the amount of the money that the ring of my dreams would have cost! (We're not taking Liz Taylor here, but simple, classic, and flawless can cost a lot.)

I love my engagement ring but don't wear it most days since my son was born. I always wear my thin, plain white hold wedding band, though. I wanted a plain wedding band so I could wear it doing fieldwork, etc without worrying about losing a stone.

If I wear anything at all, it's usually just a simple sapphire and diamond band. It's Victorian and I like the simplicity of it.

I do. A tiny, thin gold band that cost, I think, $40 16 years ago. My tiny engagement ring was always hurting my kids, poking them. We were married when we were 20, still in college, so no money for anything more, and I am not a jewelry-wearer, anyway--don't have pierced ears and never wear a necklace because my kids just pull on them and break them when they are nursing.

My little ring means so much to me, because it symbolizes what really matters in life.

Carolyn Bessette Kennedy did. I loved the spread of her in Harper's. Navy turtleneck, cords, little makeup and that simple, small gold band on her ring finger. This was soon after she married JFK JR and was worth millions.

My mother had always worn just a single, thick gold band.

I made sure to order a simple platinum band (no diamonds or design, completely plain). However, I do wear my engagement ring too most days...just one diamond in a simple platinum setting. I used to work in a research lab and am very athletic so I didn't like the idea of a ton of bling. I am not a 'jewelery' person. I hardly ever wear jewelry.

I rarely wear any ring. If I do, it's a plain band. I hardly even think about it.
