Krispy Kreme rules. Best donut on earth.

Otherwise, there actually is a Fractured Prune in VA. It's in the "Pan Am" shopping center on Nutley just north of Arlington Blvd 50. http://www.fracturedprune.com/location_fairfax.php I don't like FP donuts, but if you do, they are in NoVa.

I find Krispy Kreme so foul. Absolutly disgusting.

The best I've had were piping fresh hot out of the fryer up in Massachusettes, amazing hot apple cider donuts, right at the peak of a spectacular New England Autumn rolled in cinnamon sugar.

Family bakery on Rt. 1 near Woodlawn (www.myfamilybakery.com), definitely the best in this area.

The Wegmans has really nice cake donuts (that actually taste like buttermilk). But other than that, yeah, it's a donut wasteland. So sad...
