I wanted to second that last comment, though broaden it beyond IEP, our experience at CCES (and many of those I know) has been underwhelming, mostly because of a very poor Principal. It is too bad because it could be such a good school, as it has a diverse population, excellent facilities, and many high quality teachers. But if you have alternatives, you should take them.

It may just be me, but I don't recommend Chevy Chase ES, esp. for a child with an IEP. Bethesda Elem. is supposed to be the best school for inclusion of special needs kids.
