If you really want to waste time, go back and read all of the NYmag recaps from the beginning of the RHOBH season. And if you REALLLLLLY want to waste time, go and read their recaps from the recent season of RHONJ. Different writer, but just as hilarious.


NYMag's recaps are very good, but Gawker's recaps are the best. I feel evil for sharing this addictive time-waster . . .

I think Taylor is lying about being abused, or at the very least lying about the extent of it.

I used to believe her and thought it was disgusting that anyone would doubt her claims, but she lies about everything (even her name) and then plays the victim.

I felt that Kyle kept mum because she really wants to ask Taylor whether all the abuse is true, but she is afraid that Taylor will attack her for it (much like she did with Camille).

I agree with you though about staying with Taylor.

Did anyone feel weired about Brandy kicking Taylor out? Talk about pouring oil on the fire!

If she faked abuse, that makes her more ill than someone ill enough to kill himself.

I agree with PP re: Kyle and Adrianne trying to stop Taylor for saying something on camera that might put her in danger. I think she is abused on hitting a wall. Might not be physical, but some abusers know how to cause pain w/o showing signs.

I hate that I love this show.

oh, and didn't Brandi seem naked in that white dress. And why did celebrity rehab sober house woman host a wine party?

When they're together, she does not seem afraid of him at all, and even kind of seems to be the pants-wearer. I think she naturally defers to him but when they were at Adrienne's party she kind of put him and their marriage on blast when they were talking to a mutual acquaintance, which isn't something even I would do to my husband, and I have nothing to fear from him.

This is the hardest part of being a social work practitioner. Clients can be so darn unlikeable. People suffer horribly (e.g. domestic violence, rape, abuse) then can behave so horribly themselves (hi, Taylor!) that it can make it pretty challenging to connect with them. They can be wildly unsympathetic despite their circumstance.
