My kid is so gifted that she was doing art work at the age of 18 months.

Unfortunately, the medium was from her diaper onto the wall.

I thought the autism comment was funny. I thought she was poking fun at those of us who think our kids are so muckin' futch, and really not saying anything about autism at all. Or maybe making a comment on how others perceive her kid.

My son is so gifted that he only writes backward. Last year, when he had just turned 4 and his friends could not write their own names, he was writing their names backwards. Top that!

(for the sensitivity police, yes, he writes backward and he's probably dyslexic - runs in the family - but a little early to diagnose yet)


I wrote backwards till I was 5 and then suddenly just stopped. Not dyslexic at all. Hopefully things will work out the same for your son.
