I'd imagine whoever does your trash would also have a leaf collection. I was just waiting for all the leaves to fall, our lawn guy is coming by the end of the month to blow all the leaves to the curb, where the Town of Leesburg will vacuum it all up.

We live in Town of Vienna, free collection and free delivery of loads of mulch in the spring. Front yard we blow to the street, the back yard to our compost pile and shred so it breaks down quicker.

Are all of the leaves in your yard from the trees on your property or from the neighbors property?

Call a neigborhood meeting where each leaf is examined one by one and a joint decision is made about who that leaf belongs to

We use a leaf blower. A lot quicker.

We got a mulching mower and we just mulch them and dump most of them in the beds. This is our second fall in a house (as opposed to a city condo) and I just found out recently I should get some lime to add to the yard to compensate for the acidity.

Raking is good exercise on a beautiful fall day! (and tiring, as I learned this weekend.)
