We also used the washable underwear with insert (basically a maxi pad).

Also I should add - I don't really believe in night training. My daughter is 6 1/2 and we just ditched pull-ups because her body finally got it. I know some people are all about the reducing not liquids and alarms and waking them to pee but we chose to just let it happen naturally for her and it finally clicked. So there are different ways to approach this. Good luck!

You might have felt differently if she was 10 and unwilling to do sleepovers or camp in a pullup

Underjams. My son likes them better than the target brand and they're the same price.

Make sure he points his penis downwards in the pull-up and that the little pocket flaps are on either side.

That was my theory, until my sons friend saw the pull-ups and made fun of him.

We walked my son to the bathroom every night around 11 pm or midnight. Some nights we went to bed earlier and set an alarm to get us up. Our son never remembered it, but one night we forgot and we found him sleeping on his floor and he had obviously gotten to the bathroom (his bipod you got him there and back, but apparently could not stay awake long enough to get back into bed.

It was a pain, but better than pull-ups or cleaning up accidents. We could not limit liquids because the dentist told us our sons dry mouth at night was causing cavities.

Under jams rarely leak. My 6yo 48lb DS wears them every night. He leaks in the Huggies, but rarely in the under jams.

I'd try the Target brand or Underjams and see if that works.

We also used the washable underwear with insert (basically a maxi pad).
