He’s pretty close to what he always suggested he’d be. And there are lots of other Dems who are right there with him. Clinton would have been about the same, though possibly more effective.

Those voters will come again, and I'd bet dollars to donuts they will stick with Obama because so far Cain is not attracting black supporters. Look at his campaign stops and tell me what you see. I'm not saying that racism is right. I also can't stand that Romney has a "religion" problem either. I am looking at the political reality, which I have commented on time and time again. And that is that the Republican party is intolerant of minorities and because of that their long term outlook is really poor. It doesn't attract hispanics (although it could have as Bush proved), it doesn't attract blacks. And putting up a black candidate won't change that. You can hope for your next JC Watts, but you will probably end up with your next Michael Steele.
