Not a lot of makeup but I take a quick shower and pull up my hair. I don't get the PJ's but I get the hurried look.

I don't generally wear make-up, but I get showered and dressed in something other than my pajamas before leaving the house.
My work-at-home attire is very casual, but it isn't pajamas. And I too have seen a mom who is *clearly* wearing what she slept in last night (and many nights before from the look and frankly, smell, of it), hasn't washed her face or combed her hair, drop off her daughter at daycare each morning.

Generally don't go out of the house in actual pajamas, but certainly in workout clothes/yoga pants.

And no makeup / hair in a clip is my standard. I wear that to work.

Seriously, a face full of concealer, mascara, foundation just to drop a kid off at school? Add up all the time it takes to fix your face before drop off, multiply it by EVERY DAY, and then think how you could better use all that time.

I wear pajamas every. single. day. to drop off DS in the carpool lane. Boxer-type or lounge pants, not a negligee.

And get this -- in warm weather, I'm often driving barefoot.

I am a full-time (100%) WAH mom. I don't wear make-up at drop-off and sometimes my hair is bunched up in a clip. I have never worn pjs....wait..I take that back...during the winter I have worn a pajama top under a buttoned up coat.

I go to the gym right after preschool/elementary school drop-off. I am not getting up to put make-up on right before heading to the gym. I also save a ton of time but not doing anythign to myself..do wash my face and brush my teeth before heading over to school. I shower before pick up and usually have make-up and hair blown out and casual clothes on.

Seriously? Who gives a crap what other moms do? If a mom is going to judge me for how I do a 3 minute drop-off in the morning--she's the one with the problem.

Take DD to the bus every am with no makeup...and often in sweat or yoga pants and braless under a sweatshirt or jacket. This is at 7:15 am. Then I go home and shower.

I would rather turn up at school in pajamas and no makeup than have my kids be late for school and inconvenience the teachers and the rest of the class. But I don't wear pajamas so it's unlikely to happen.

I dropped my DD off this morning wearing black yoga type pants, a t-shirt, sneakers, and a ponytail. I did put on make-up but only bc my skin is going through a rough patch. I typically shower after drop off and will pick her up this afternoon in jeans, a cute top, and flats. I never really thought about what the other moms might think...if they are bothered by it, then I guess they just need better things to worry about!

I'm not a SAHM - I WOH - but I've probably dropped my daughter off without makeup at least 50% of the time. I'd never wear pajamas, though I'm often wearing workout clothes on telecommute days. Even during maternity leave, it wouldn't have occurred to me to wear pajamas farther away than my own mailbox.

There are moms at my kid's school who pick up their kids in the afternoons wearing PJs. Cartoon character flannel pants and a hoodie seems to be a popular look.

Me, I always at least put on jeans for dropoff. But makeup, no way. We're late risers, and I just don't have time in the mornings to get both of us ready for the day. I shower after dropoff.

What do you consider pajamas? Flannel pants and a t-shirt? Fine for a quick drop off on a rough day. Nightgown, not so much.

Oh yes I do... My question is, why do YOU care?

I also to to the grocery that way, doctor's office and I chose a job that doesn't have a dress code so I can pretty much wear that to work if I want to.

I'm a part-time SAHM. If I don't have to get out of the car (kiss and ride) then I will wear pajamas and no makeup. However, if I have to actually go into the school I get dressed, do my hair, and put on gloss/concealer/eyeliner/blush.
