PK this made me laugh...especially the "bring a lawn chair." Why is it this happens mostly at WFM, but at TJs people sing kum-by-yah and love eachother?

Someone smashed into my friends parked car there while she was inside shopping. Can you imagine if she was still in the car and had her baby with her?

Not sure what the solution is. If the store already has security cameras to pretect their property when it's closed I assume the footage can be accessed if there is a question of who is culpable in an accident. I think they already have some speed bumps? If this is such a common issue that people rap about it, I'm thinking the stores will just assume people will keep coming regardless. I HATE that parking lot, but keep going back.

Wegman's please, please come to this area!! We need you! Please choose an area other than the whole Leesburg Pike corrider to build your beautiful grocery store and make sure there is ample parking! I *heart* Wegmans.

Out of curiosity does fairfax county give out info about about car accidents in a location the way they give our info on crimes?

I would stop shopping there, but they have the best produce and allergy safe foods and there are many things I like about the store including some of the people who work there. Is it because the parking lot is too cramped? Do I just have bad luck there? Can they get a surveilance camera so people at least have evidence is a person denies wrongdoing? Am I the only one who is alarmed by the accidents and wild driving there as compared to other stores?

When did Fairfax County make you the parking lot monitor at Whole Foods on Leesburg Pike? Were you elected or appointed. It is a busy parking lot with a lot of other stores. Um let's see. If I see an accident I don't pretend like it never happened. I take down license plates numbers for those hit and run instances and also if the owner of the car is in the store and needs to be notified. I also offer to call the police. I also care about my own safelty, the safety of my children and the safety of my fellow humans. It saddens me that you don't give a rat's ass about others, but it wouldn't surprise me if you are one of the offenders because you have the same attitude as the other wacky drivers there.
