My dd was Athena when she was 2 - white long sleeve shirt and white thick tights, golden sandals, a tunic made from white linen like fabric from g street remnant table. Gold rope ribbon from g street around the waist. I sewed an owl to the front of the tunic, used gold fabric paint to make bracelets and an arm bracelet on the shirt that I copied from pictures of Athena and the adult whorish version of an Athena costume.
Her brother was Poseidon that year with a similar tunic, green fabric going over oneshoulder and tied with the rope around the waist that tied the tunic at the waist. Bought a neptunes spear/ pitchfork, and a crown. Used fabric paint on shirt including a green "gem" like poseidon had in a lot of pictures.

Ha! Love the windex reference.

DD has renounced Medusa and will settle only for a true goddess. Thinking Athena or Aphrodite...we'll see. Cyclops still a big hit.
