I had an older outside council almost in shock at a work meeting last week...was saying something about imy 16-years at my position and they were like---'yea..you started working at 9'. And I said 'I will be 42 this winter. The woman dropped her coffee cup and the man literally gasped. When I walked them out--they kept saying they couldn't believe it. I usually get placed in my early thirties.
I have olive skin, dark hair (and just got my first grey hair this year..which I pluck out). I also have been a runner, gym-rat my whole life and neurotic about slathering sunscreen on my face since my mid-20s.
My parents are 70 and people think they are in their mid-50s. A lot of it is also genetic...but they are also very athletic, healthy people too. They still go to the gym daily.
