Having a job I love. I'm surrounded by young adults (20's, 30's) and that keeps me thinking and feeling younger!

DITTO on the "stiff" hair - the helmet head reminds me of my 98 year old grandmother.

Don't do it! Please!

Since forty, I have stayed out of the sun as much as possible and use sunscreen otherwise. I can really tell the difference (comparing with my sisters) now that I am 52.

Sunscreen always. Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize. Drink lots of water and avoid alcohol which is dehydrating. East lots of fruit and veggies. Maintain a healthy weight. Exercise regularly. Smile (ditto on the white teeth).

Is there any way to control this, though, once you're asleep?

Based upon advice on this forum, I bought a Clarisonic. I love it. It gets my skin really clean without making it feel "stripped."

Stay away from the lipliner!
Overly stiff, "done" hair is aging.
So is too much eye makeup.
In my opinion, the three things that help one to age gracefully are: staying slim, good posture, and smiling often (with white teeth!).
