Target sells 2 Fireman Sam DVDs - I think that's all that is available in the US. The show is about a little town in Scotland with a fire department that has to rescue people quite often. It's not just about fires, but all kinds of situations where people or animals have gotten into trouble and need help. I enjoy it because the mountain rescue helicopter guy is quite attractive.

How do you have this if it hasn't been released yet?

We have the first one with the wheels--as well as a digger with wheels and a tractor with wheels. My DS is obsessed with them.

not fire trucks per se, but very cute
Agree. My son & I both love this one, even now when he's long past the fire truck phase.

penguinsix wrote:Youtube "Fire Trucks Responding" and you'll find dozens of videos of alarms ringing, the doors opening at the fire station, trucks coming out with sirens blaring, etc. Kids can stare for hours. Or look up "Fire Truck Parade". That one is crazy.
Here's a few from DC:

Another thing we found fun for the boys was to goto the website for our local fire department and download the pictures from their site (we have a volunteer department near us). We printed out a little 'book' of all the engines and ladders and then when they went to 'fire station day' with the school they recognized them as being the local trucks.
Most fire stations have a website now days:
