11.50 here. Well that's disappointing. I was so looking forward to dragging a gf or my mom over there. How's the beer list?

I also meant to add, I love love Jaleo, and I think Cafe Deluxe makes a good burger. Never been to Tako Grill tho. What's good there?

I've only had sushi, sashimi (like the Chirashi on brown rice) and Nabeyaki Udon at Tako Grill. It's very fresh, the atmosphere is spare but pleasant, the service is pleasant and it's easy to park. My favorite sashimi is the king salmon. They have a large bar with happy hour prices for drinks and Japanese bar nibbles.

Also I like Mussel bar. Asian style curry mussels are great! Beats the snobby atmosphere and bland mussels at Et Viola on MacArthur Blvd in the district in my opinion.

Bangkok Garden for Thai.

Passage to India is wonderful (Haandi caters to American tastes) and has some very unique dishes that you don't find in other Indian restaurants. Try th Coorgi Murgh - incredible chicken dish from South India - my family loves it and we're from South India.

I second the Coorgi Murgh at Passage to India - it's one of my favorite dishes...

The place isn't so bad that you shouldn't try it. the beer list is pretty good within the constraints of MoCo's terrible booze regulations. But even the beer is very expensive compared to prices for comparable Belgian beers in DC.
