We're not strict but for under 1 year, we kept the same formula (we supplemented). For my 7 month old, right now I'm introducing Passover okay pureed foods: chicken , apple sauce, pears, etc. as I make my own baby food and these will then be familiar. For the older babies, I did the same - switching now to peanut butter on matzoh for snack instead of sandwiches, dried fruit for granola bars, egg dishes / yogurt for cereal / bagels. That way there's no abrupt change.
