I have one of each -- the Belly Band is SO MUCH BETTER. There is no comparison. Much tighter hold, smoother, thicker, Better.

Yeah, I have both, and this is the plus I see to the Bella Band. My Be Band rolls up a lot more. That said, I don't like having anything around my tummy right now, so even though they both fit, I've just opted to wear dresses. Maybe I will pull them out in a couple weeks.

+1 I would hate putting pressure on baby. Just wearing dresses and below waist yoga pants for casual.

I'm PP who asked about the silicone. I had the problem of 22:11 where the band would ride up in the back and make the whole thing pointless. I guess I thought the silicone would grab the waistband in back.

4 months is so awkward.

Some of the Bella Bands have a silicone edge along one edge/end; some models don't. I am 17 weeks and have both versions, and honestly the silicone one (which is supposed to keep it from rolling up as much, I think) actually rolls up MORE than the regular ones. To the PP who was asking how they work, most people use them to wear their normal pants and skirts unbuttoned and unzipped (to some extent), and the bands cover it all up and hold it flat, so it just looks like a camisole or tank top over your waistband that is the bottom layer. I also use them just to sort of smooth over my belly and hold down the ends of my camisoles or shirts, since now they are creeping up in front.

I found the 1st time I wore the Be Band that the back bottom hem rolled up a bit. That showed the white printed tag on the black fabric and I was extremely embarrassed! I wear it under shorter shirts like a layered look as I am not pregnant but refuse to wear tanks and camis under shirts as I am a bigger woman and I dont need the extra fabric nor the extra warmth. Should I wear it upside down so the "tag" doesn't show?

Much better (and more affordable) than Bella Band are Belly Ups. You should check those out www.bellyups.com

I don't understand them?

I had both of these and hated them both. I don't think these bands do a damn thing. My pants always slip out from under them and I'm constantly adjusting them all day. I gave up.

I am curvy, too, and didn't like the Be Band at all. It just rolled up, and wasn't as wide as the Bella Band. I thought the Be Band was a waste. Do you know anyone you could borrow from, just for a test run?
