We teach respect and knowledge about ball cultures, American, Russian, French and Spanish including. We speak English, however, have Language immersion programs in Russian, French, and Spanish. Children have Language classes 2-3 times per week (each language), Art class (every day) and of course, Music class. Our children 3-4 years old speak 2-3 languages and they are progressing enormously. For more details check our website www.creative-learning-school.com. (no openings).
Knowledge about all cultures? Hard to believe.

My daughter started Russian school Olympus in Potomac, MD (in Cabin John Middle school) last September and we love it. They have so much to offer. Hey All, there is a meetup group on meetup.com for the Russian moms. I think it's called Russian moms something. Check them out, they meet pretty often both on weekdays and weekends arranging activities and playdates for the Russian speaking kids. I'm sure it's also a good network to find out about childcare facilities with the Russian language.

It was Russian daycare there, last year it was clouse because of new director at the Russian Cultural Center. He didnt want kids to be there.
Sorry to revive this topic again, but do you by any chance know if they are planning to reopen the daycare? We are thinking about moving to DC in a year-two and hoping to figure out the Russian daycare situation.

There is no Russian daycare in DC proper as far as I know. The closest match would be the daycare at the Russian embassy compound for the embassy staff. As far as I know, they start at age 3, and they follow the Russian Ministry of Education guidelines, not U.S. daycare regulations. I don't know anyone with kids there right now, so can't really say.
There is no Russian storytime in NoVa but you can explore half-day or Saturday preschool in any of the Russian daycare facilities in VA (listed upthread). I believe they start at age 2.5 - 3.

The daycare at the Russian Cultural Center will not be re-open. You will be very lucky if you find any daycare in DC not talking about Russian. Best daycares (Russian including) is in the suburbs of VA and MD. You need to do a lot of research about schools before you move, otherwise, you it will be costly and not convenient. DC is not great place for a good schools, unless you ready to pay big $$$.
Well, this sucks.
