Get thru this and then you will have time to reflect.

OP I am really sorry. I was the spouse in the ICU and it really took a toll on my husband, even though I made a full recovery. If it’s still like this in another month or so I would talk to you PCP about meds and/or therapy. You absolutely can have PTSD from this sort of thing.
