Elementary is normal but middle and HS have seemingly been off all week.
My 10th grader had three final exams over Monday and yesterday. 8th and 10th graders both went to school today. They are always sentimental about school ending for the year.
That surprises me, I stopped by our local Giant yesterday after ES drop off (about 9 am) and there were a lot of I would say younger high school age kids roaming about. I’ve also heard that grades were due at some schools on Friday.

How do sophomores "just go home"? They don't drive.

I have been guilty of sending my kids on the last day with no one else there. I’ve since learned to listen to my kids who say no one else will be there. Big difference between ES, MS, and HS.
Part of the problem is they should have been finished last week.
