Rates range but are reasonable as long as it's not a home game weekend or parents' weekend or graduation. Covington is an hour away.
Why in the world are you on DCUM?
Anonymous wrote:UGA is a fantastic school, just know out of state kids need HYP-like stats to be admitted.

Girls will wear skirts and boys will wear khaki pants and collared shirts.

This and the fact it's in the south.
Not so fast. Being good at football and being in the south didn’t help Alabama not be a joke. Sorry UGA being a top flagship doesn’t fit your narrative.
Where is it ranked a "top flagship"?
Let’s make this easy since you seem confused. Look at UGA’s stats and rankings and compare to other flagships and public universities. Sorry this is hard for you.
I did.

+1 OOS is extremely hard. We know several top kids that didn’t get in.
Depends what you mean by 'extremely' I guess....I think that would suggest single digit OOS admit rate. Perhaps single digit OOS acceptance rates could get a "impossible" category then.
For this year’s EA group, the EA acceptance rate for In-State applicants was roughly 42%, and the acceptance rate for Out-of-State applicants was roughly 23%

Oh please. 77% of OOS applications were rejected. Go away if you don’t have anything useful to contribute.
I thought stating accurate facts would be useful especially since PP stated it was similar to HYP for admissions for OOS. I didn't want to deter any parents from having their kid apply based on such assertions.
