If you use Caudalie products, they're much cheaper in France. Same with LRP, Avene, Embryolisse, etc.

Is that true? If so, very exciting. I order my LRP from Care to Beauty, but I’d love not to have to pay the shipping and tariffs….

NP bumping this question. Is this right? We will actually have access to better sunscreen in the US next year?

Yes.

That’s great news. Unfortunately, it does not include Mexoryl 400, which is what LRP products use. From the article:

Researchers are keeping tabs on how BEMT’s approval will affect the approval of other UV filters in the U.S. Wyles says others in the BEMT family might see similar approvals. Another organic filter, Mexoryl 400, has also demonstrated coverage of the UVA spectrum and is increasingly found in sunscreens produced in Asia and Europe. “I can see that coming to the U.S. at some point,” Wyles says.

Sounds like there’s hope that will get approved at some point, but for now we still have to order from Care to Beauty.

A couple of years ago I visited the CityPharma and asked for help from one of the many women working there (I'm 54). She directed me to a brand called Condense Paris. I have used the Smoothing Eye Serum, Matifying Purifying Emulsion (a cream) and various samples. I really like the products.

However, they are expensive. They do deliver to the USA, but the last time I looked it was quite expensive (and I've been afraid of paying tariffs on my end, like I have for a couple of other things I've ordered from Europe in the past year) so I haven't ordered from them this year. The next time I visit Paris I'm definitely going to stock up.

I'm not sure if all of the Pharmacies carry Condense Paris, it doesn't seem to be as common as Caudalie or La Roche Posay.
