The best style in my experience is the Vionic Tide flip flop.
It’s gotten to the point for me where the only footwear that is guaranteed not to cause a plantar fasciitis flare up is the Hoka Bondi 7 sneaker and the Vionic Tide flip flop.

I love Taos - have high arches and wear them a lot. I also have good luck with Born sandals and the Okuka flip-flops. And yes, if I don't wear shoes like this I will get plantar fascistic. Most important for me though is good (and newish) exercise shoes.
