I know several kids at Fusion. I think that price is per semester. So yes, $10K+ per credit class.

This is a very basic program. Not great if you want a strong education. It’s the absolute minimum. MCPS took away the virtual school.
You’re right that it’s the absolute minimum. But the kid is years behind and you have to start somewhere. Please don’t start the “virtual option” debate here.
I strongly believe in virtual school but when you compare that program to what they had before with the MVA, its not an equal or good option. Better go with a private option that has special ed support and supplements with tutors. That program is going to put a child further behind as its not a full daily program and has very limited classes. Its there to get kids to graduate, not on grade level.

+1 Fusion is crazy expensive and look at the qualifications of the teachers - its basically tutoring. You can find online tutors for $10- $ 30 an hour.

Sorry for the multiple posts but standard 1-1 at Fusion is now 15k per course, thanks to the other poster for posting current information. They have other options now that are less expensive including self directed and small group. They didn’t have those several years ago. I’d still do a private virtual school and tutor instead of these.
