In hindsight, I should have held back a grade at earlier age but public school didn’t permit and we have been in a private school that is 5-12th grade. We are about to start 11th grade. What options do I have at this stage? They are just starting to grow and could also benefit from another year for their sport. I might be SOL and the idea of a postgrad year at a private prep school when tuition is same price as college doesn’t seem to make much sense plus they also want one more year of living at home. Any guidance?
