She’s so washed up it’s hilarious. Megan Moroney, Lainey Wilson, and Ella Langley are dominating country/pop. Swift hasn’t had a genuine hit in like a decade.
What’s hilarious is you calling Taylor washed up and naming 3 hicks I’ve never heard of. Less than a year ago, Taylor released Life of a Showgirl.
It was the fastest-selling album in history, moving over 4 million equivalent units in its first week and breaking Adele’s 10-year record for the largest single-week debut.
lol. Swift is old news. Langley is the new it girl — and doesn’t need to scam her fans with multiple versions to juke sales charts.
“Ella Langley's massive 2026 hit "Choosin' Texas" made music history by outselling Taylor Swift's "The Fate of Ophelia" in total units.”
“No. 1 album (Dandelion) and No. 1 single ("Choosin' Texas") simultaneously—a milestone previously achieved by Swift.”
Is there not room for both? How come we can like many male singers but we have to pick one female and throw all the others under the bus - doesn’t make sense.

Anonymous wrote:I'm assuming she will have a country themed wedding with toy story giftbags for the guests. Disney kickbacks or sponsorship (along with ralph Lauren). rumor is 20 million wedding for 1200 in madison square garden. This will kill her brand but maybe she is listening to Travis PR firm now.

If you're going to diss an artist, as least get your facts straights. Cruel Summer went #1 in 2023 and stayed in the top ten for almost 40 weeks. How were all the Eras tour shows sold out if she's washed up? Too funny.

Anonymous wrote:The “nonsensical” reaction is odd for this song. It’s one of her most straightforward songs. There’s maybe one metaphor, no big vocab. Old friends lose touch. Old friends reunite. That’s it. That’s the story. There’s nothing complicated. Which part didn’t make sense?
Anonymous wrote:It’s so mediocre. She does not deserve an Oscar, that’s for sure. Generic and nonsensical in parts. I do not believe she wrote it specifically for the movie and think she pulled it from the vault.
It doesn’t hold a candle to the beauty and emotional depth of Sarah Maclachlan’s “When She Loved Me”

Blah blah blah those “sales” are obvi fake and juked by her nutty fans buying 10 copies each. No casual country fan can name the last hit Taylor had. She’s been a has-been greatest hits act for the last decade.
Talk about nutty...
