You're not. Reasons my friends and me have turned down sex:
- person is unattractive either from a physical or personality vantage point
- still getting over someone and really do not have the appetite to indulge
- the woman appears to be more trouble than she is worth (needy, overly aggressive, etc.)
- man does not want anything resembling a relationship while woman does, and hurting or disappointing her would be a sh$t thing to do
- the inverse - just met someone with girlfriend potential and really do not want to deal with the possibility of complications from sleeping with a different woman

50s man here. Hinge and Bumble work pretty well. Tinder rarely works for me but obviously works for some. I just can't figure out who wants what on Tinder most of the rime. Match seems popular too, but the women in match tend to be too boring for me.

I say I want short term, open to long term or long term, open to short term. A lot of women are same. And a lot of women who want long term will go for short term if the chemistry is right.

This. Also don't get this "ooh so depressing that women sleep with me" talk. Women have usually had unfulfilled s*x for DECADES before their marriage is over. Add to that that the older generation women married quite inexperienced and obviously women want to have some "fun" after getting out. It helps if they're approaching menopause and don't have to worry about pregnancy either.

My brother is in his late 40's and he's surprised by how many women are out there for just fun and sex. With kids and jobs they have very little time for a real relationship. I know a couple of the women and I would never expect that of them but I get it.

I have the same experience and it makes sense. The women I meet are more thrilled that our lives intersect enough to have fun but we maintain our own busy lives. If we fall out of orbit then we catch the next rock. I'm just as thrilled to be honest, and I have the added benefit of not ending a good relationship after marriage or moving in comes up.

Divorced women with kids who suffered a decade+ of bad sex and a strained marriage absolutely love to get laid. They have little time to play the courtship game and many have no intention of getting remarried until the kids are older. So yeah, they want the D and if a dude is attractive enough & has his sh#t together, they willingly jump in the sack quite quickly.

OP: you can easily find what you’re looking for. Just be upfront that you’re dating for fun and want to keep it low-stakes.
