I get to supervise our AVP’s kid who, while nice, evidently didn’t even *interview* for the role and has shown up looking slovenly. And doesn’t ask any questions. She has the personality of a top hat.

My company is also rife with nepotism. We have peer-to-peer awards and it is not uncommon for parents, spouses, best friends of parents, etc. to submit relatives/friends for awards, part of which is a decent amount of money. It pains me because there are no criteria for the awards and just seems so >ick<.
