LOL - I was going to say I miss the urban noise of the city. I really hate the noises of the suburbs - the constant lawn mowers ruin the whole experience of enjoying my beautiful backyard. I vastly prefer the hum and gentle noise of public transport (I used to live along a tram line in Europe, as well as near a bus stop in old town - love me the sound of air brakes).

We renovated our old kitchen and it had everything I loved. The old house was a good size but cozier. It also had a nice home office and gym.

I kept thinking about what I missed but renovated the kitchen in our new house and upgraded most things and it’s even nicer than my old kitchen.

I also love my new yard. A little more space between my neighbors and I have a nicer garden now. Next upgrade is the deck.

It took a few years but I no longer miss anything about my old house.

It had an unobstructed view of the puget sound to the west snd lake union to the east.

Our previous home had beautiful finishings like the kitchen and master bath but it was so dark inside and not fixable in terms of natural sunlight. It also wasn't well laid out for grandchildren. We bought a bigger home and gutted most of the first floor. But I did love that kitchen and master bath. The previous owners must have spent a fortune.

I miss the amazing outdoor kitchen from one house and the screened porch of another. I now have neither. A combo of both would be perfection for me.

My last house had a bigger yard that I didn't fully appreciate at the time. I loved raising my kids in the city, walking to metro and daily retail needs, but now that they've flown the nest, I wish I had a garden to pour my energy into.

The en suite bathroom. We moved into an old house that doesn’t have an en suite and our sex life has really suffered.

It was walk-to-metro.

We moved from a split level to a colonial and I miss how open our former floorplan was. Colonials feel so boxy to me.

I also miss our community pool. We have one at our new house but it's not nearly as nice.

Sounds like us. We remodeled 2 years before selling. My new kitchen is actually bigger, but it's dark and doesn't open to the family room, which I hate.

I miss my former yard - it was smaller and nicely landscaped. My new one is huge and gets no sun so it's a big weedy mess and we don't have the funds to do anything with it.
